UPS says Wii arrived in Honolulu at 11:05 p.m. That means it'll land on our doorstep on "LOST" night. Wii will have to wait!

you are going to love it!! I recommend Rayman for a lot of little games built into one. Also get the classic controller so you can download some old school stuff.

Looking forward to it! I'd love any Wii advice, as I'm going in blind. I'm definitely hunting for kid-friendly games. Didn't even know about the 'classic controller.' Will I want a second remote or second nunchuk first?

Watch out for wii elbow! wii sports is good for kids as is warioware. And another vote for the classic controller.

Wii elbow. I love it. Video games go from fostering sedentary kids to causing repetitive motion injuries!

Wii Sports is the game that comes with the console, right? I love that, too. And I think I actually ordered Warioware... as well as Super Paper Mario and Super Monkey Ball.

So with the "classic controller," where does one get "old school stuff"? Anyone doing web browsing on their Wii? Any tips? Can't wait!

I ached for days when I first got mine. Yeah, sports is the one that comes with the console. I made the mistake of challenging a 5 year old to wii boxing last week. What was I thinking, I didn't stand a chance :-)

Let me know if you want to swap friend codes.

Forgot to say, I still find web browsing on the wii a bit difficult, but check out google reader for optimized for wii http://www.google.com/reader/view/?ui=wii

Old school games are downloaded from the wii interface and I got my controller from Amazon.

Woohoo! You and the kiddies are going to love it. The Wii Sports that comes with it are a blast. My daughter and I rented games from Blockbuster before buying any - she love Cooking Mama and we died on Zelda at the level where whathisname turns into a wolf.

Kitchen Mama! A friend of mine recommended it, too, even though it got low marks from GameSpot. My daughter loves cooking with my wife, so it sounds like a good fit. Thanks!
